The Kangaroos beat Opava
Opava came to Ďolíček in 21st round. Bohemians have not scored in last two matches and Opava showed an increasing form.The coach Weber had to make changes in a starting line up. Radek Sňozík was still injured and Havranek took his position. The attacker was Štochl and Budínský took a position of a center midfielder.
The first chance of the match was for Opava. Zapletal took a shot just few seconds after the kick off and the shot was just wide of crossbar. Bohemians reacted with a solo run by Moravec. He came through half of the pitch, took a shot and the keeper Hampela had to stretch to save it.
Next few minutes were not that interesting for an eye of the spectator. Bohemians had the possession, but the Silesians were an equal team.
The away team could celebrate after 40 minutes of the match. It was a corner kick which brought the ball to the box, the ball ended in the net, but the celebrations were too early. The striker made a foul and the goal was disallowed. The counterattack by Moravec brought another chance for the home team, but Moravec missed again.
Last minute of the first half decided the match. Kalina got into the penalty area, crossed the ball and one of the defenders played a hand ball which led to a penalty kick. The penalty kick specialist, Josef Jindřišek, took it and scored. The halftime score was 1:0.
It is hard to say if it was the goal or the pep talk in the cloakrooms, but Bohemians started the second half as much better team. Bartek couldn’t reach Moravec’s cross just 3 minutes after the kick off, and then it was 52nd minute when three players of the home team went on two, Kalina passed the ball to Štochl, who lost the ball to a keeper.
3302 spectators saw a great comeback after an hour of the game. Martin Kolář came on pitch after 11 years. He immediately played the free kick and created more chances.
Martin Kolář sent a pass through to Štochl in 70th minute. He then sent the ball to Bartek, Bartek headed into the post it deflected back to him and his second try was stopped by the defender who was on the ground.
4 minutes to time brought another of great saves by Hampel when Šmíd headed after the corner kick. The ball deflected to Bartek who again missed from a meter distance. Nothing has changed and Bohemians won 1:0 and came back at the top of Football National League.
