Kangaroos lose in Liberec

The home coach Jindřich Trpišovský made three changes compared to the previous match. But he was forced to make first two changes really early. It was Sýkora who got injured in 4th minute and Bartošák followed him in 9th minute.

The first chance belonged to Bohemians. Pauschek was looking for running Schick, sent a cross ball but Schick’s header wasn’t any dangerous for the home keeper. Then it was Bartek together with Jirasek who executed the free kick in a non-standard way. The shot was deflected and only meant a corner.

Liberec took the word in 32nd minute. Šírl managed to block the first try for a cross ball, the deflected ball was sent back to penalty area by Coufal, where Kerbr jumped higher than others and scored. It didn’t last long and the score changed again. The corner kick in 39th minute was sent to the penalty box and Coufal in a close distance, hit the ball behind Zlámal’s back.

The second half started with a first considerable chance by Shala. He went one on one with the keeper, but Zlámal lowered the angle and Shla’s shot ended just centimeters away from goal.

The coach Pivarnik tried to alive the game with a double substitution in 70th minute. Čížek and Acosta came on the field. But a third goal for the home team came immediately. The cross ball of the home team was stopped with a help of Šírl’s hand and referee pointed at the penalty spot. Pavelka sent Liberec into a three goals lead.

And the difference should have been four goals but thanks to the great save of Zlámal after Bakoš’ went around two players and tried to finish it.
Čížek, together with Schick returned at least some of the hope on the side of Kangaroos. After a corner kick, Schick hit a good header and scored to lower the score to 3:1. Acosta, with an acrobatic try, threw away the last chance of the match and Bohemians stay winless after 9 rounds.
