Defeat in Jablonec

FK Jablonec - FC Bohemians Prague 3:1 (1:0)
Bohemians dropped to 14th place in the table and coach Dusan Uhrin suffered his first defeat of the season as Bohemians crashed 3-1 at Jablonec. Bohemians lost in Jablonec after four matches in a row, which brought them 8 league points.
Jablonec led from the 6th minute but they were afraid of losing points until the end of the match because Kangaroos had big final pressure and decision brought only 3rd goal after Herzan’s break.

The home team took the lead as early as the 6th minute, when a long clearance from Lastovka found Masek, who dually laid the ball on to Vodehnal to finish. Hartig almost brought the game back on level terms in the 25th minute following a mistake from Lovasik, but failed to score into an empty net. Contofalsky, returning in place of Holec, stopped Bohemians going further behind towards the end of the half after good work from both Michalik and Vodhenal.

A heavy downpour in the second half led to more defensive mistakes resulting in more chances for both sides. Balaz for Bohemians and Weber for Jablonec both went close. Two goals from Herzan in the final 7 minutes for Jablonec put pay to any Bohemians fightback, with Obermajer's fine goal sandwiched inbetween the two, purely coincidental! What a pity, Bohemians scored too late, so all three points remained in Jablonec.
