Bohemians lost in Letna before poor attendance, only 2577 spectators visited Monday‘s derby because of awful beginning of the match (thanks to TV Prima). Bohemians are in the 15th place in the league table and probably will have problems to save the 1.League for the next season. All fans hope that next match against Teplice brings us very important three points.
Bohemians’ fans created almost home atmosphere to Kangaroos, home fans were busy only by home defender Grygera who criticised them for their behaviour during the last match.
Sparta scored long before the match because there is an agreement that Radek Sirl cannot play against Sparta. Janacek also coudn’t play because he has ankle injury.
Slovak goalkeeper Holec who got priority ahead of Contofalsky showed his ability already in 3rd minute when he well saved free kick from Poborsky. After corner kick in the 4th minute, he could only follow the ball headed besides the goal after Novotny‘s head. The 4th minute brought the first goal. Obermajer touched the Baranek‘s shot and Holec was helpless. This period of the match Sparta was better, the ball was often before the Bohemians’ goal.
Balaz gained the first corner kick in the 22nd minute and started the push of Kangaroos. Hartig could utilise the pass from Kisel but he hit only crossbar. Three minutes later Kisel fed Balaz who passed the ball to Szabo in penalty distance but Szabo missed. Bohemians were better but they were not able to score (Balaz, Hartig)
Sparta showed how productivity should be, from one sporadic fightback Poborsky scored.
Very soon after the beginning of the second half, Svejdik made big mistake and Pospisil changed the score again. But despite bad scoreline, Bohemians still fought and they were a little better. Two times Balaz, then Senkerik and Kisel could score, on the other side Jarosik could increased the difference in the score.
Sparta didn’t play well regardless they won high. Kangaroos can regret the goal chances which weren‘t utilised.

Dusan Uhrin: It is always the same. We got the goal very soon and it influenced the match. We had a lot of chances but we got needless goals instead. Except the first ten minutes, we allowed nothing to Sparta until the second goal.
