The official Bohemians website offers many features that allow English-speaking fans the opportunity to follow the progress of the kangaroos in their own language.
The English homepage features links to recent news stories about the Czech club, whilst you can click on Fixtures/results to access up-to-date statistics for this season’s matches. Also available from this page are a full set of results for recent seasons and details of Bohemians’ performances in the UEFA cup during the club’s illustrious past. Most football fans will have little difficulty navigating their way through this section – football results being something of an international language. The only Czech term you may struggle with is “kolo” meaning cycle – this simply refers to single matches that make up a series. League tables are featured under the “stats” menu. The other links on the menu should be self-explanatory.
One more thing that might be of interest is the prediction league (available in English on http://tipovacka.fc-bohemians.cz/default.aspx?lng="EN") where you can currently predict results for the top two Czech leagues (with the possibility of this feature later being extended to the English Premiership and beyond). Players will be ranked according to their ability to predict the outcomes of matches throughout the coming season.
