If you are planning a visit to Prague and you are a football fan, we have a suggestion for you. You can compound your enjoyment from seeing one of the most beautiful cities in the world by watching Bohemians play their usual feisty sort of game at their home ground, lovingly called Dolicek. All you have to do is time your visit.
To help you with your planning we have listed all remaining autumn home games of “kangaroos” below. Note that starting times may change slightly - the correct times will be posted in the section Fixture/Results (under the tab Fixtures) usually about a week prior to the game. Due to lack of artificial light at Dolicek, kick off times will be moved close to 14:00 during October and November and will be announced here.
Please refer also to an excellent article by Jo Breen “A Rough Guide to Bohemians Prague”, where you can find what to expect at the stadium as well as directions how to get there.
The remaining 2004 second league home games:
September 26, 2004 (Sunday) 16:30 Bohemians – Kladno
October 8, 2004 (Friday) 16:00 Bohemians – Kunovice
October 24, 2004 (Sunday) 16:30 Bohemians – Pardubice
November 14, 2004 (Sunday) 16:30 Bohemians - Plzen
Are you English, staying in Prague for a weekend? You can see Bohemians and catch your plane on Sunday afternoon!
It takes just an hour to get from Dolicek to Ruzyn Airport, even with Sunday evening timetables. With combination of tram No. 7, yellow tube line "B" and special airport bus No. 100 you can make it in 59 minutes, so you don't have to worry that plane leave without you. All you have to do is to book late evening Easyjet flight on your way back.
