Match review: Bohemians - Kladno 2:1 (1:1)

Only 500 fans saw Bohemians win in unpleasant autumn weather. It was another “must win” game for the “kangaroos”, but they did not start the game well. Kladno was clearly a better team during the first 30 minutes. The lackluster play of Bohemians contrasted with a crisp passing game of the visiting team. It did not take Kladno too long to capitalize - Kalina scored already in the 4th minute of the match.<br /> Bohemians picked up the game in the latter part of the first half. Their effort paid off – Vyskočil scored on a rebound after a corner kick.

Both teams had some good chances in the second half, but fans had to wait until the last minute of overtime for a goal, but it was well worth it.  Bohemians pressed hard as the game was getting to a close and were rewarded by a corner kick.  Třasák’s perfectly placed corner kick found the head of substituting Hanus who was positioned at the closer goal post.  The arching ball bounced from the far post into the net.

Bohemians coach, Dusan Uhrin jr., credited the unwavering support of the fans for this victory.  The victory came with a price though – possibly the best player of Bohemians as of late, Lesák, received his fourth yellow card and cannot dress for the next game.  The same goes for the pillar of defensive corps, Obermajer.  Without these two players, Bohemians will field the next week a very, very young team indeed.
