At their December 23rd meeting, they weighed the pros and cons of the Opava move and decided that the risks associated with the move were not worth taking. The biggest potential obstacle was a possibility that the approval from the Czech Football Association was not forthcoming. Not in a timely fashion, anyway.
It appears that Opava fans can finally relax as they will not lose their club. Bohemians fans can also rejoice since their club’s history will not contain a black mark left by the planned move.
UB Corporation is said to be considering the best way to enter the affairs of Bohemians Prague after leaving Opava for good.
