Let's save Bohemians

Dear readers, fans of Bohemians:

This year, the football club FC Bohemians Praha was supposed to celebrate 100 years of its existence. Unfortunately, the club’s situation deteriorated to the point that its very existence is now at stake. We understand that there are many of you who are considering helping Bohemians. Individuals or groups, we think it is important not to split our efforts, but rather act as one. A united effort has a better chance to succeed. And considering the state that Bohemians are in, another unsuccessful effort could be fateful. Let’s set aside our differences and try together to save the club with a 100-year tradition!

We, at Virtuální Ďolíček, an independent web site, reporting about all events concerning Bohemians, would like to provide a platform to all individuals and groups that would like to help Bohemians in its hour of need. We believe that we could provide an umbrella for such an effort. We have informed with objectivity and professionalism about events in Bohemians during the past 8 years and that’s why we believe that we can provide a solid media support to all the plans to save the club.

We are turning to all fans of Bohemians Praha - you have always been the club’s pride. Help save our club!

We are turning to all citizens of the Prague district of Vršovice - the history of the football club of Bohemians Praha has been tied with the history of your district for 100 years. Please help save your neighbour!

We are turning to all Czech artists and politicians - we know that there are many of you who are fans of green-and-whites. Help!

We are turning to all of you who were fighting for Bohemians survival till the last minute despite seemingly insurmountable obstacles - you can still help!

We would like to address those who were active in Bohemians in the past and are still tied to Bohemians by their heart strings - we believe that you can help!

All of you, who are not indifferent to the fate of Bohemians, don’t stay on the sidelines. Join us in our effort to save Bohemians!

Virtuální Ďolíček is an independent web magazine covering events in the football club FC Bohemians Praha. Virtuální Ďolíček has been in existence without any interruption since 1997. The costs associated with the operation of the web site are provided by private individuals (with the exception of the year 1999 when the club FC Bohemians a.s. made a financial contribution). We are aiming at providing our readers with objective and professional reports. We believe that we are meeting that goal, which is evidenced by the fact that our articles, whole or in part, are frequently re-printed by various daily newspapers.
The current action “Let’s save Bohemians” is in no way associated with current owner(s) of FC Bohemians Praha a.s.
