Dear readers, friends, fans of Bohemians Praha:<br /><br /> As you are aware, our beloved club, Bohemians Praha, finds itself in most difficult circumstances. The bankruptcy proceedings against the club have begun, and in all likelihood, the club will not be able to finish the current season. Our appeal to all the fans and friends of the club brought a wonderful response. Many readers not only offered help but wrote heartfelt letters about their relationship to Bohemians. We are very encouraged by this response. A fans committee has been created in order to co-ordinate and direct our help where it is needed. The committee proposed a name for our activity: SOS KLOKAN (klokan is the Czech word for kangaroo). Some responses came from individuals or organizations wishing to acquire ownership interest in the resurrected Bohemians. Our task, as we see it, is to try to bring these groups or individuals together. After what our club has been through, we are very cautious about supporting a group or individual whose intentions are not honest. That is why we have to conduct a time consuming diligence so that our support is thrown behind people who deserve it.
At the same time, we have to follow all new developments in the bankruptcy proceedings. A judge appointed bankruptcy trustee has taken control of the club and his decisions will also dictate our future course of action.
