“And it's hell to pay when the fiddler stops. It's closing time.”
(Leonard Cohen)

The Czech Football Association (CMFS) decided on February 28, 2005, to revoke the professional license of Bohemians Prague for not fulfilling its obligations. The club was given a chance to appeal this decision until March 7, 2005. Since the bankruptcy trustee Mr. Huml did not appeal the decision, Bohemians’ 2005 second league season is over. All autumn results of the club have been annulled.

CMFS also decided to fine Bohemians 3 million Czech crowns. If Bohemians pay this fine, they will be allowed to start playing again in the third league this fall. If this fine is not paid, Bohemians will be relegated to the lowest possible level of football competition (a.k.a. beer league).

The movement SOS Klokan (SOS Kangaroo) has been very active behind the scenes, however, without visible results so far. There are indications, though, that an announcement is going to be made by SOS Klokan. Please stay tuned.
