He joined Bohemians as an unknown youngster in the summer of 2001. During the fabulous Bohemians fall season he developed into one of the most sought after defenders in the Czech league. He became a steady feature of the under-21 national team, the team he later helped to the European championship. It did not take too long before Sparta came calling. Then it was off to St.Petersburg. Currently Hory, as Martin Horák is called, is a member of the Turkish team Denizlispor. And although his stay in Bohemians lasted only 8 short months, he has never forgotten. That’s why he wants to help Bohemians, the club that ushered him into the world of “big” football. His DFB application form was accompanied by 50 thousand Czech crowns...
“I remember all too well how I got where I am today. Bohemka is in my heart and I will be only glad if my contribution helps all of those who mean well with Bohemians”, he says.
We can only add: “Thanks, Hory.”
