Can we break through the barricade?

The finish line is just down the street yet unreachable. A giant barricade stands stubbornly in the path. Can we plow through it? Can we go around it? Time will tell. And there sure isn’t a lot of it left. We’ve seen a whole lot of positive development over the past few weeks. A ton of fans became members of the Bohemians Supporters’ Trust (DFB). A ton of money has been collected out of membership fees as well as various donations, and most of outstanding debts have been wiped or lowered to just 10%. The key word is “most.”

There is the “magnificent seven” debt receivers that refuses to accept DFB/AFK’s proposal to take the 10% or forgive the entire amount.  Hey, it’s their money and they have the right to get them back – but if all ends up in bankruptcy they might not see any of it anyway.  The seven people are the barricade that’s halted DFB’s plans and severely endangered the success of this entire project.  Plainly speaking, the DFB needs to get 100% debt creditors on board (there is around 40 of them) or the plan will crash.

Here are the barricaders and the debt amount:

Pavel Vandas (675.500 crowns) – Refused to discuss DFB’s proposal.  Does not like/agree with DFB/AFK’s project and for that reason will try to barricade it.  He also represents the following three football players:
Ales Bednar (43.500)
Dominik Rodinger (33.000)
Karel Zelinka (26.500)
It seems that as long as Vandas is in opposition, the three above will be also.

The following three are currently in a bad financial shape, which causes them to oppose DFB’s plan.  However, as mentioned above, their stubbornness might destroy Bohemians and any chance to see their money back anyway.  With DFB’s plan, they have at least 10% guaranteed.
Vladimir Hruska (127.000)
Frantisek Hanus (73.200)
Pavel Kulig (124.00)

The DFB is attempting to do something that has never been done before on this scale.  It’s taken a lot of time, energy, resources and passion to get to where are.  Now is not the time to give up.  We have not gone this far to find a barricade, turn around, and go home.  There has been a plenty of barricades we’ve already plowed through.  Let’s keep hope alive!  We are almost there.
