Bohemka has been saved, but there is no end to the support activity of Bohemians Supporters’ Trust (DFB). They carry on collecting money and organizing events aimed at generating support for Bohemians. One of these events is a concert that will take place on Saturday, June 4, in Park Café in the city park Riegrovy sady. This well known garden restaurant, which has a capacity of well over 1000 guests, will fall this Saturday under the green-and-white spell. Encouraged by a great success of the previous concert, the Balbinka poetic pub decided to organize a concert on a larger scale. This one will be run under the name of “Balbinka spring poetic festival” or “Concert for old geezers and for Bohemians.”
“We love what fans of Bohemians are doing for their club. We have already contributed financially to their efforts once and we will gladly contribute again. We are going to donate 50 CZK from every sold ticket to Bohemka, the rest will cover our expenses”, said Jiří Hrdina, the man behind the concert idea. Tickets are 250 CZK. The concert will start at 3 p.m. and will run until 10 p.m. And who will you be able to see? There will be performances by Pepa Nos, Jiří Schmitzer, Paleček a Janík, Vláďa Merta, Vlasta Třešňák, Oskar Petr, Ivan Hlas, Sváťa Karásek, Bran and others. If you are using public transportation, take underground (subway) route A to the stop Jiřího z Poděbrad and walk to the city park Riegrovy sady.
