This match was a celebration of the return of our beloved team on the green pitch. 7344 fans squeezed into the old good Ďolíček to see the first game of the third league season. This number far exceeded even the most optimistic expectations.

The ancient anthem of Bohemians started it all, followed by the teams’ arrival on the field and official speeches by the chairman of the DFB, Antonin (Tonda) Jelinek, and the director of Bohemians, Mr. Steinbroch. And then it was time to play the game. All fans in attendance stood up and cheered.
Slavia brought to Ďolíček its reserve team full of young, talented players complemented by a new reinforcement for the first team, forward Tomáš Pešír. Bohemka, wanting to impress all the fans in attendance, played with great effort and enthusiasm. There were scoring chances on both sides; however, Slavia seemed to be a slightly better team. In the end, it was a defensive mistake of the newly formed Bohemians team’s defensive corps that decided the outcome of the game.
Even though the first game in Ďolíček ended up in defeat for the home team, fantastic Bohemka fans gave the team a standing ovation at the game’s end.
