Bohemka played this game in white uniforms since Jablonec sported its traditional combination of green and black. More than half the fans in attendance accompanied Bohemka to its first game away from home this season.

Bohemka chose a different approach to this game, relying more on quick breaks rather than constant pressure to create scoring chances. And it seemed to work well, Bohemka scored its first goal this season already in the 11th minute of the game when Rosický passed the ball back from the goal line directly to Slezák who shot the ball under the cross bar. Kangaroos played well in the first half of the game. The best Kangaroo was midfielder Jiroušek, as if he had something to prove to his former team.
Bohemka continued playing well even in the second half, however, Jablonec’ only chance after a defensive miscue resulted in a tied score. Bohemka took once again the initiative and pressed for a winning goal. It did not take too long and the second goal was in Jablonec’s net. It was scored by ever present Jiroušek. With Bohemka in control of the game, fans were looking forward to the first win of the season. However, it was not meant to be. Another gross defensive mistake in the last minute of the game caused a tying goal. What a pity!
