Bohemians 1905 - Prachtice 2:1 (1:0)

Another spectacle in &#270;olí&#269;ek!&nbsp; 6754 football fans came to see the leading team of the third league, Prachatice.&nbsp; By the way, this was the highest attendance of any sport event in the Czech Republic this weekend, including the first and second league football games!<br />

Those who came to see an entertaining football did not regret it.  Bohemka started with a traditional pressure and it did not take too long before the lively attendance could celebrate the first goal in the visiting team’s net.  After a series of corner kicks, Slezák scored after a pass from Jiroušek.  Prachatice came to life after the goal; however, Bohemka stayed in the control of the game and did not allow any scoring chances.

Bohemka started the second half of the game the same way it started the first one.  After a pass from Strnad, Chod scored on a sharp drive.  Despite the effort by both teams and some chances on both sides, the score remained unchanged until the last minute of extra time when Prachatice scored after one of several corner kicks.

With only two games remaining in the fall season, Bohemka is 10 points behind Prachatice.  The management of Bohemians declared that nothing is lost, and that the team will still try to end up in the first place at the season’s end.  Considering all that Bohemka had to go through before the start of this season, it would be fantastic.
