The management of Bohemians 1905 organized a unique action called the Kangaroo Christmas. Over 700 fans attended an open air fair in the Ďolíček stadium to purchase presents for themselves and for their dear ones. The most popular item among many available at this event was a DVD containing historic highlights from Bohemka’s games in European cups as well as all goals from Bohemka’s inaugural 2005 season in the third league. Another item in high demand was a comprehensive encyclopedia showcasing important events in Bohemians 100 year history. A surprising hit was a gingerbread house decorated in green and white, proving that the youngest generation of Bohemka fans is making its presence known.
It was during this fair when results of fans voting for the best Bohemka player of the fall season were announced. As expected, forward Dalibor Slezák received the honours, followed by midfielders Michal Dian and Petr Jiroušek. Congratulations, Dalibor!
The response among participating fans was so enthusiastic that the management has already started planning the Kangaroo Christmas 2006.
