In the play-off stage of Tipsport Cup Bohemians 1905 met two very strong teams playing the top league in the Czech Republic. Although we lost to Teplice, our players made a good appearance in second match and by beating Brno, they secured third place and 50.000,- CZK in prize money.

Teplice and Bohemians 1905 faced each other for the second time in a short period of time. The final outcome of the match was exactly the same both times, proving that there are a few teams in the Czech Republic that are a notch above Bohemka’s current capabilities. Teplice, currently in the second place of the first division standing, was a better team from the first to the last minute of the game. There is no shame in admitting that - Teplice was too strong of an opponent for our third division team.

The result of this game against the first division Brno was much more flattering than the previous result against Teplice. And it was not only the result that pleased a few hundred fans watching the game in a deep freeze. With the exception of a few minutes in the first half, it was Bohemka that controlled the game. Kangaroos were more active than their opponents and the result truly reflects what was happening on the field. By winning this game, Bohemka placed third in this prestigious tournament also known as Winter League.
