Pardubice - Bohemians 1905 0:2 (0:1)

This seems too good to be true. Another excellent result against a higher ranking opponent. We just hope that Bohemka will play the same way when the season opens on March 12. Bohemians travelled this time to Pardubice to face the second division opponent on an artificial turf (the brutal weather in the Czech Republic does not allow to play on natural grass, yet).

Both teams gave an opportunity to all the players to show their stuff. Bohemka players, probably wanting to impress their coaching staff (there was nobody else to impress since the game was played at 11 a.m. on the weekday), dominated the play right from the get go. Ageless Slezák headed in the first goal after nice passing by his teammates.

The second half was even better, as Pardubice could not keep pace with the agile players of Bohemians. The newcomer Gonoz capitalized early on when he scored a beauty of a goal.  Although left-footed, he sent a rocket shot under the cross bar using his weaker, right foot. Goalies, watch out!

Bohemka will play the next game on February 18 at 2 p.m. in Kladno against the local team. Kladno happens to be the second division leading team.
