Hradec Králové - Bohemians 1905 0:0 (0:0)

Players were looking forward to playing on natural grass, but the Mother Nature had something else in mind. After a substantial rainfall, match organizers were forced to switch the venue to the one with an artificial turf.

The third team of the second division, Hradec Králové, introduced in one of the last tune up matches before the spring season its strongest lineup. On the other hand, coach Busta utilized 18 players during the game.

There was a minimum of scoring opportunities at either end as both teams were very evenly matched.  The final result is a reflection of what was happening on the field.

The last preparation game of Bohemians 1905 before the season starts will be played on March 5 at 2:30 pm on natural grass at Strahov (Prague) against the fourth division Kácov.

One scary news item - the assistant coach of Bohemians, Petr Kostelník, collapsed after a Thursday practice in which he filled in for the ill goalkeeper Charvát.  An ambulance had to be called to take him to a hospital where it was discovered that he suffered a minor heart attack.  Petr is a former goalkeeper of Dukla Prague, Sparta Prague, and the Czechoslovak national team.  He just turned 42 years old.  On behalf of all the fans, we wish Petr a very speedy recovery.  See you soon behind the bench, Petr.
