Bohemka needed a win in this (postponed) game. The win over one of the two leading teams of the third division would allow Bohemka to start thinking again about a promotion to the second league this season.<br /> Despite instruction from coach Busta, the whole team started playing the first half without a spark. Čáslav was a better team on the narrow field that it is accustomed to, and Čáslav eventually capitalized on a coverage error by Bohemians defense corps in the 37th minute of the game.
Soon afterward, Bohemka started playing the way it was instructed. The aggressive type of football paid off shortly after the start of the second half when Kulvajt hit the target after receiving a nice pass from Slezák. The tie lasted only a few minutes and the main referee Makovička called a penalty shot against Bohemka. Even the home fans were shaking their heads at this call. Nevertheless, Čáslav went ahead again.
Coach Busta showed his magic touch when he substituted Kulvajt for Strnad. It did not take Strnad too long to prove that he belongs in the starting lineup. He tied the game again by marvelously executing a free kick in the 73rd minute.
The rest of the game belonged to the referees. They made sure that Bohemka would not get anywhere close to Čáslav’s goalie by calling non-existing off-sides, reversing fouls, etc. Masterful performance! All present agreed that they have not seen anything like that all season.
Although the game ended up in a tie, moral victory belongs to Bohemka.
