Good-bye third league, hello second league! Despite the heavy competition from the World Cup, a very respectable number of fans found their way to Ďolíček. They came to see the last game of Bohemka in the third league (hopefully forever). It turned into a love-in between the fans, players and management.<br /> Their opponent from Varnsdorf arrived to Ďolíček tied for the lead in the third league. Coach Busta gave some of his players rest and played youngsters from Bohemka’s youth team instead. Goalie Havránek, left back Uchytil and forward Formáček got their first chance to show their capabilities along with their youth team teammates Hašek and Bartek who have already experienced the third league games before.
With no weight on their shoulders, Bohemka players started the game in an entertaining style. Already in the 11.minute of the game, Kulvajt header ended in the Varnsdorf net. The second goal was even prettier, as a cross from Hašek was headed in by Lukáš. Bohemka then controlled the rest of the game, showing some individual skills to entertain enthusiastic fans. The end of the game was a spontaneous affair as most of the fans entered the field to mingle with players and management.
Since the second league season finished already three weeks ago, Bohemka players will have a relatively short rest before they will start their preparations for the second league games. Coach Busta is planning to start with the always unpopular physical conditioning on July 7. The second league games will start in August.
