There has been a substantial movement in the Bohemians 1905 roster during the summer break for two reasons. First, Bohemka, like every other team, is aiming to improve the team’s quality for the upcoming season. Second, the birth of the reserve team required an increase in the number of players available both for A- and B-team. The influx of new players from outside was mitigated by the movement of some players from Bohemians youth teams to adult category. Two outstanding youngsters, Bartek and Ivan Hašek have already proven themselves successful in the A-team during the previous season. There is the summary of players in the article that moved in and out of the Bohemians system:
Arriving players:
Radek Sňozík (30 years) - experienced goalkeeper from Příbram with 61 first league games under his belt. He will likely become Bohemians goalkeeper No.1
Jiří Havránek (18 years) - goalkeeper from the youth team who was given a chance in the last game of the previous season and registered a shut out. He will likely play for the B-team.
Jakub Hrábek (18 years) - another goalkeeper from the youth team. His destination has not been decided, yet.
Jan Penc (24 years) - defender, coming from Xaverova. Coach Busta picked him up for the centre defender position.
Jan Uchytil (18 years) - young back from the youth team of Bohemians. He has been already tested in a third league game.
Ondřej Kolísek (18 years) - another defender from the youth team.
Milan Škoda (20 years) - young centre defender, was on loan in Manětín. He played for Bohemka in autumn games and scored a few dramatic, last minute goals.
Pavel Hašek (23 years) - midfielder. Older brother of Ivan Hašek is coming back where he grew up. During his absence from Bohemka he played 31 first league games with three different teams.
Bartolomej Gonos (21 years) - very promising Slovak midfielder who came during the winter break. He has yet to play a game for Bohemka due to a serious injury suffered during the winter preparation game.
Jan Moravec (18 years) - midfielder from the youth team.
Lukáš Marek (25 years) - midfielder from Xaverov.
Daniel Kocourek (19 years) - speedy forward who was on loan in Manětín.
Departing players:
Milan Zahálka - goalkeeper, spent only half a year in Ďolíček. Did not fulfil expectations.
Tomáš Freisler - experienced defender. The first player who signed to play for the newly born Bohemka and became the first captain of the new team. Had a hard time to regain his position after a brief illness. Played 24 games for Bohemka last season. Compensated his lack of speed with his considerable experience, but coach Busta felt that the second league would be a stretch for this 36-year old player. Tomáš is currently negotiating a contract with an Austrian team although many Bohemians fans would like to see him as a captain of the Bohemka reserve team. Thank you and good luck, Tomáš
Vlastimil Chod - skilled midfielder, leaving for Cheb.
Tomáš Buldra - back, played only two games during the spring season.
Tomáš Knap - left footed back from Slovakia. Played only three games during the spring season.
Štěpán Kolář - goalkeeper, the only player who also played for “old” Bohemka. Played during the autumn season, but did not see eye to eye with the coach. Spent the spring season on loan to Kácov.
