The off-season was rather short for players of Bohemians 1905. Unlike their first and second league colleagues who finished their seasons early due to the World Cup in Germany, they had to continue with their third league season well into June. In fact, they played their last game on June 18, the day after Italy tied the USA 1:1 in Group E and the very same day France tied Korea 1:1 in Group G. Who would have guessed that they would meet in the finals...<br /> Bohemka players started preparations for the new, second league season in early July. After a conditioning camp in the country, Bohemka participated in the traditional tournament in Žirovnice on July 16. The highly diluted first league team of Most was the first opponent whom Bohemka handily outplayed. In the finals of the tournament, Bohemka met Jihlava, the team relegated to the second league after a courageous first league campaign. Bohemka was more than equal to its opponent, however, Kangaroos lost after a rare defensive miscue.

After the tournament, Bohemka travelled to Moravia for another training camp. On the way there, our team played on July 19 a preparation game in Kolín against the home team that will compete in the third league this season.

It was revealed that the promising centre defender Penc from Xaverov left Bohemka to sign a contract with the first league Příbram. Coach Busta has to look elsewhere to replace this towering defender (195 cm tall).
Bohemka played two games during its training camp in Moravia. The first game (played on July 20) was against Kroměříž that used to play in the second league last season but left for economic reasons. The second game was against the reserve team of Olomouc. This game was played on July 22.
