Bohemka faced in the second round another team with a hard to pronounce name. Bystrc, we are told, is based in one of Brno’s suburbs, but having been aware of the many fans that accompany Bohemka to away-games, the management of Bystrc club relocated this game to the main Brno stadium in Královo Pole.
The relocation of the game did not have any affect on the final result. Bohemka did not show any spark or ambition and the final result is a true reflection of what was going on in Bystrc, Brno, Královo Pole, where ever.
It is a sad statement, but Bystrc was a better team throughout the game. Occasional chants of “Busta out” during the game should not be surprising to hear. Although it is too early to play the “blame-the-coach-game”, it is clear that Mr. Busta has to take some blame for the team’s poor performance. Somebody should explain to the fans that travelled all the way to Brno why Bohemka players were always one step behind and the consolation goal was scored on the only chance that the team managed to generate.
Moreover, our bright young star, Ivan Hašek jr., suffered a knee injury during the game that will force him to be out for at least three weeks. Is there any bright side to look at?
