A “must-win” game for Bohemians did not please any demanding fans. However, the task at hand was accomplished - three points remained in Ďolíček.<br /> This game was all about effort and will, not beauty. Coach Busta, strongly criticized by fans for the team’s abysmal results so far this season, made some surprising changes in the starting line-up. Most players nominated for the game are known for their strong work ethics and this game proved that Busta made the right decision.
Bohemians’ defense played very responsibly, not allowing the young Olomouc players to get close to Sňozík’s net. The midfield line, reinforced by centre forward Slezák and newcomer Adam, outplayed the Olomouc midfield line. The forward line played very well, considering that youngster Bartek and much older Divecký have not spent much time playing together. And it was young Bartek who managed to score the only goal of the game early on, showing a great deal of determination by pushing the ball across the line.
Bohemka introduced in this game a new reinforcement - midfielder Lukáš Adam who came to Bohemians on a loan from České Budějovice. Bohemians have an option to sign him to a contract if things work out. Adam is 26 years old, 183 cm tall. He has played in 31 first division and 109 second division games so far.
Bohemka’s next game will be against Hradec Králové. The game will be played on Sunday, October 15 in Hradec Králové and starts at 5 pm.
