Bohemians 1905 support European Action Week by Football Against Racism in Europe (FARE) during the 12th round of Czech II. liga against FK Usti at the home stadium in Dolicek, Prague 10, on Sunday, October 22 from 3:30 pm.

Against this backdrop the Football Against Racism in Europe (FARE) network will call upon the European football family to come together in October for the European Action Week against Racism and Discrimination in Football. Last year more than 600 groups in 35 countries took part and as football’s drive against racism continues to gain greater momentum we expect this year’s Action Week to be even bigger, engaging more people than ever before.
Although we do not face any incidents of racism nor discrimination at the Bohemians stadium, we visually support this initiative addressed against discrimination and xenofoby we might witness on other stadiums and playfields in Europe.
The idea behind the FARE Action Week is that a wide range of initiatives and activities address local problems within their club or community, while also joining groups across the continent to present a unified stand against racism in the game under the headline „Ignoring racism, is accepting racism“.
Before the kick-off of 12th round match Bohemians 1905 is going to introduce the banner „Bohemka proti rasismu“ (Bohemians Against Racism), which remains at the home stadium till the end of the season, at least. Both teams together with referees will line up with the similar banner while Bohemians Ultras introduce their choreo „United Colors of Bohemka“.
Bohemians fans are the only Czech participants of the FARE Conference in Barcelona earlier this year and they are the only active participants of the FARE project from the Czech Republic.
Czech Footbal Association (ČMFS) has been informed about the Bohemians activity as General Secretary of CMFS, Mr. Petr Fousek supports this visible activity of the club.
FARE wants to see the 'beautiful game' played without the cancer of racism. Football is the biggest sport in the world and belongs to us all. It should be the right of every person to play, watch and discuss freely, without fear.
Unfortunately, at all levels of the game, from amateur to international, there are incidents of racism. Be it from fans, players, clubs or other football bodies, FARE believes that such behaviour, on and off the field, is unacceptable and unwanted by the majority of fans and players.
FARE aims to rid the game of racism by combining the resources of anti-racist football organisation throughout Europe. It helps to support and nurture groups and coordinates efforts on an European scale. By working together, FARE helps organisations share good practice and present a united front against racism in football.
