Bohemka is on a roll, no doubt about it. Five wins in a row have moved the team from second last place to the fourth position in the standings. <br /> Windy, cold, and rainy conditions spoiled an attempt to create the attendance record for this season. Nevertheless, the game attendance was more than respectable. Compare that with 2199 fans who came to see on the very same day the first division game Slavia - Příbram.<br />
Fans of Bohemians must have loved this game as Bohemka controlled the game from the beginning to the end. Kangaroos put Olomouc under pressure right from the start of the game, capitalizing early. Slezák fired a hard shot from a free kick that Olomouc’ goalie failed to smother and Pávek delivered a rebound into the net. Bohemka then allowed Olomouc to take reins of the game, however, Kangaroos played very well defensively. Although Olomouc had a higher percentage of ball possession, the scoring chances were non-existent.
The second half continued in the same fashion - Bohemians team working like a well oiled defensive machine while Olomouc struggled to create any opening. As the game’s end was approaching, Olomouc took chances by moving their defenders forward. This move almost backfired as Bohemka forwards had at least three great scoring chances on breakaways.
The game ended up 1:0 for Bohemians to long and loud cheers from wet, freezing, but happy fans. This was the last second division game this autumn in Ďolíček. Bohemka will play its last game away from home the next Sunday, November 12 at 10:15 am against Viktoria Žižkov. Considering the limited capacity of the Žižkov stadium (4600 fans), it is not surprising that the game is already close to being sold out.
