Kladno - Bohemians 1905 1:2 (1:1)

Victory at the Weekend of Champions is a tough act to follow.  Following the excitement experienced at Sazka Arena, any preparation game must seem like a dull exercise in comparison. The first in a long series of preparation games matched Bohemka against the first division team of Kladno.  Kladno fielded all their best players, including newly acquired Canadian defenseman Williams.  Bohemka rested some players, namely Vágner, Kotyza and Slezák.  Youngsters Ivan Hašek and Bartek are still down with injuries.

Kladno was a slightly better team on this occasion.  However, one Bohemka player spoiled Kladno’s winning intentions - goalkeeper Sňozík.  Firstly, he scored on a penalty kick against Kladno, a goal that proved to be a winning goal.  Secondly, with three minutes left in the game, he made a save on Kladno’s penalty kick.  There is no wonder that Bohemka fans love this guy.

Bohemka will play two preparation games this coming weekend - on Saturday against Admira (Vyšehrad Cup) and on Sunday against České Budějovice (Tipsport Cup).
