Bohemka beat Mladá Boleslav twice (once in the Tournament of Champions and once in the Tipsport Cup). However, not the third time. Mladá Boleslav showcased its strongest lineup for this game. The Czech vice-champion was determined to succeed and the start of the game showed it. Pecka scored the first goal already five minutes into the game. Although Bohemka had some chances, Mladá Boleslav was a better team in the first half.
The second half showed that Bohemka is not a push over. Kangaroos stepped up the tempo and their ball possession equaled at least that of Mladá Boleslav. Ironically it was their opponent who scored the goal after a short hesitation of Bohemians defense. The best chance of Bohemka to score a goal came on a free kick flawlessly executed by newcomer Rychlík who moved to a midfield position in the second half. His hard shot curved around the wall, however, the goalie was able to stop it and with the help of defense get the ball out of the harm’s way.
The “A” team of Bohemians is scheduled to play one more preparation game before the second division season starts. They will play on Friday, March 2 in Teplice. The game starts at 2:30 pm.
