Bohemians were a dominating team in just about every aspect of the game, but one. Scoring goals proved to be an elusive task. Until the last 10 minutes of the game, that is.<br /> Almost 100 Bohemka fans accompanied their team on a long trip to northern Moravia, close to the Polish border. Since Hlučín has similar jersey colours as Bohemka, it was up to the guests to sport different colours. That’s why Bohemka started the game in a new set of jerseys - the combination of black and golden colours looked quite spiffy and, as it turned out, brought good luck to the team.
Nobody could blame Bohemka for not trying, but it did not look like anyone would be able to beat Hlučín’s goalie Kosmál, although there were many chances crying for a goal. The home team showed Bohemka how it is done when Dombi scored after a corner kick. This was one of very few chances that the home team managed to create.
However, Bohemka kept on pressing. Coach Busta had a lucky hand in selecting the substitute players. First P.Hašek’s pass found Slezák who did not hesitate and tied the game at 1:1. Then another substitute, Kulvajt, secured Bohemka a valuable victory when he tucked in a goal with just a few minutes left in the game.
This was a sweet victory, especially for coach Busta who was celebrating his 40th birthday. All the best to the coach and the team as well.
