FC Zenit Čáslav - Bohemians 1905 1:3 (1:2)

Čáslav caused problems for Bohemka in the past, but not this time around.  Despite the early Čáslav goal, Bohemians were a better team and proved it by scoring three goals while not allowing Čáslav almost anything.

It was an important victory that established Bohemka as one of the serious candidates for promotion to the first league.   However, this win may prove to be a Pyrrhic victory as Bohemka lost services of its captain and heart-and-soul of the team, Dalibor Slezák for the rest of the season.  After jumping higher than defending players of Čáslav and heading in the third goal, Slezák lost his balance and fell awkwardly.  He had to be carried out on the stretcher and the diagnosis does not sound good at all - broken arm.

All players of Bohemians deserve a pat on the back for their solid performance in this game, including young Havránek who had to replace more experienced Sňozík in the goal.  Sňozík was issued a one game stop for his ejection from the game with Opava.  He will be ready to assume his duties in the goal in the next, very important game against Jihlave.
