An inaugural indoor football tournament called “The Weekend of Champions” played last year in Sazka Arena in Prague proved to be a great success. That’s why tournament organizers decided to do it again.
Spectators will find the selection of teams for this year’s tournament to be quite attractive. Of course, the fans favourite will be once again Bohemians 1905, the unlikely winner of last year’s tournament. Among other Czech teams competing in this year’s tournament is the league leading SK Slavia Praha, the second team in the current standing FK Teplice, the third team AC Sparta Praha and the sixth team FC Viktoria Plzeň. Also participating is another Prague based team FK Viktoria Žižkov and two of the best Slovak teams, MŠK Žilina and MFK Ružomberok. The tournament will be televised by the Czech TV channel ČT4 and most likely by the European sports channel Eurosport 2.
The fans of Bohemians are encouraged to purchase tickets to sections 108 and 109. Other sectors may also be added for Bohemians fans if required. The tickets will cost 160 or 190 Czech crowns per tournament day.
