Bohemians 1905 - SK Hradec Králové 1:0 (0:0)
Given that Bohemka had already achieved promotion to the Fist League last week against Jihlava, the mood around Doliček for the game against Hradec Kralove was pleasant and relaxed. For the heroic players, the pressure was off and the game provided a chance for the loyal supporters to show their appreciation to the team and staff. 6563 fans came to the stadium and sung their hearts out all through the match. In the end, a single goal was enough to get the three points and give the fans more to cheer about.
It was a good performance all around from a Bohemka team which saw several changes from the usual lineup. The first half saw lots of pressure, but no goals for the home team. Good chances for Adam and Hartig perhaps should have been put away, but the score remained 0-0 after 45 minutes.
The second half saw a more even game. Hradec did their best to apply some pressure, but after 73 minutes Lukaš Hartig was fouled by the Hradec goalkeeper, and Radek Sňozík stepped up to convert the penalty. Bohemians managed to see out the remainder of the game, much to the delight of the supporters.
With just two games left, Bohemka are already guaranteed first place in the Second Division, so the two remaining games - away to Trinec and home to Usti Nad. Labem - will provide more opportunities for the fans to celebrate, and for the team to get some more practice before the real test begins next season when Bohemians once again join the elite of Czech football. We encourage everyone to come out for the final two games to join in the fun .
